Questions and Answers
How can I get involved?

All schools and children can get involved in these great fun fund raising events which will be taking place four times a year. It is completely free and all you need to do is to approach your school council or head teacher and register your interest via email, our website, telephone or complete the booking form.

What can I do?
The idea is to have fun and raise money for Noah’s Ark Trust and its work supporting bereaved children and their families in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. We want everyone to wear orange or do something orange, to let their imagination fly and have a memorable ORANGE FRIDAY!

How do we get an award?
Everyone who takes part should make a donation of at least £1 to wear something orange. If your school averages £1 per head then you will automatically qualify for a Bronze Award. If you raise an average of £2 per head you will qualify for our Silver Award. If your fund raising efforts exceed this, then your school will qualify for the prestigious Gold Award.

Where can we get great original ideas for an event or activity?
There are lots of original things you can do on ORANGE FRIDAY to raise extra funds. You could:

  • sponsor a teacher to dye their hair orange, shave their beard or have a wax treatment,
  • hold an orange coloured cake sale,
  • hold an orange themed lunchtime karaoke,
  • create an orange game and charge your friends to have a go...

How do we collect the money for sponsorship?
You can collect all the donations make payments through a credit of debit card directly to Noah’s Ark at http://www.noahsarktrust.co.uk/Donations.aspx or you can send a cheque made payable to Noah’s Ark Trust.
